INDIAN RESTAURANT IN TIRANA, ALBANIA
|
'Some of the finest food I have ever tasted outside of India' Zafar Khan, Indian businessman, Ashiana restaurant, Tirana, May 2007
| Tirana has a good selection of indigenous and international cuisine in its numerous restaurants - Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Greek, English (!) - but our personal favourite is the outstanding Ashiana restaurant near the American Embassy. Indian Gunsen Shah and his lovely Albanian wife Erinda opened the restaurant early in 2007 and it proved to be an immediate hit with both locals and the resident 3000
expats, with some clients driving from Durres just to sample the food. |

| So popular has the Ashiana proved that Guni and Erinda have moved into new premises as the original restaurant did not have the capacity to cope with demand. Guni and Erinda have just taken over new premises and renovated to a high standard, with ample, air-conditioned seating for about 75 people, including an excellent outdoor terrace at the back. |

Take a look at the recently expanded
menu. Shankar and Das are two excellent chefs with years of experience in the catering industry. They both have distinctive styles of cooking, allowing you an exciting various, with dishes which can be made as spicy as you like. The recently installed Tandoori kitchen is already the talk of Tirana. Guni is happy to guide you through the menu and help you with your selection. In addition to the excellent food, there is an ample drinks selection from an extended Italian wine list to draught and imported beers. Weddings and other events are catered for and a takeaway and home delivery service is being planned. For more information, please contact Guni on info@buy-albania.com or on his mobile +355 69277 4459
